Danish National Chamber Orchestra Is Kept Alive

Private donations and crowd funding were successful: the Danish National Chamber Orchestra, which was disbanded at the end of last year by the Danish Radio Corporation, has raised in a very short time enough money to bring the orchestra back on the podium. The orchestra’s chief conductor Adam Fischer will conduct the first benefit concert on 1 February. He will also take part in ICMA’s Gala concert with the Bilkent Orchestra on 28 March in Ankara. Fischer and the Danish National Chamber Orchestra won the Best Collection Award for their Complete Mozart Symphonies on Dacapo.
