The International Classical Music Awards ICMA today announced the nominations for their Awards 2022, celebrating the best musicians and recordings. This year’s nominations include many renowned soloists, ensembles, conductors and orchestras as well as a lot of young musicians, many of them being first-nominees. After a very warmly applauded performance at Teatro alla Scala of Brahms’s First Piano Concerto, conducted by Manfred Honeck (ICMA Artist of the Year 2018), pianist Beatrice Rana got her trophy as winner of the ICMA award Solo performance 2021. Nicola Cattò, ICMA Secretary General and editor of Musica magazine, gave her the trophy and complimented her. Beatrice Rana thanked for this prestigious award, expressing her gratitude and pride.
