The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice is performing ICMA’s Gala Concert 2018 tomorrow, 6 April at the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice. The concert will be conducted by NOSPR Music Director Alexander Liebreich, as well as by Manfred Honeck, Music Director of the Pittsburgh Symphony and ICMA Artist of the Year. The Orchestra, « ranks among the leading European ensembles », the Jury says, and is a winner of an ICMA Special Achievement Award. Belgian soprano Jodie Devos, ICMA’s Young Artist of the Year 2015, develops her career in a great way: in August she will make her debut in the United States, singing at the Mostly Mozart Festival the soprano part in Mozart’s Requiem under the baton of Louis Langrée. The concerts will take place at the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center.
