Ettore Pagano
The 22-year-old Italian cellist Ettore Pagano, winner of the ICMA Classeek Award 2025, has been awarded the Premio Franco Abbiati, the Italian music critics’ prize for ‘Best Soloist 2024’.
The Westdeutsche Sinfonia organized a concert at the Forum Leverkusen this weekend as part of the ICMA Network for Young Artist Awards. The soloist was 18-year-old Austrian violinist Leonhard Baumgartner, winner of the ICMA Discovery Award 2023. Remy Franck reports.

The International Classical Music organized their annual Award Ceremony and Gala at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. The Award Ceremony was hosted by ICMA President Remy Franck and Secretary General Nicola Cattò. 25 trophies were presented by the ICMA Jury members.
