Preparatory Meeting For ICMA Gala 2017 At Leipzig’s Gewandhaus

ICMA Board members and executive staff members of Leipzig’s Gewandhaus participated in a preparatory meeting for the organization of the ICMA Award Ceremony and Gala Concert on April1, 2017. The Gewandhaus was represented by its General Manager Prof. Andreas Schulz, Christian Fanghänel, Head of Marketing and Sales, Dörte Heidrich, Event Planning, Press officer Dirk Steiner and Annegret Suske, Production office. For the ICMA Jury President Remy Franck and Board member Martin Hoffmeister took part. The winners for the next International Classical Music Awards will be published on January 19, 2017.

Mit der ‘Classical Next’ ging am vergangenen Wochenende in der niederländischen Metropole Rotterdam die weltweit größte Klassik-Messe zu Ende. Im Fokus des wichtigsten Branchentreffs der Szene standen zahlreiche prominent besetzte Panels, Konferenzen, Vorträge und Konzerte. Rund 1200 Delegierte und Aussteller aus 45 Ländern präsentierten zudem neue Technologien, Tonträger und Strategien und diskutierten über neue Distributionswege und Präsentationsformen für klassische Musik ebenso wie über die Zukunft physischer Tonträger.
