Austrian violinist Yury Revich, 30, who was Young Artist of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards 2015 will play the world premiere of his first own Violin Concerto. Titled Awakening, the work is inspired by the sounds and rhythms of nature of our planet and cinematic soundscapes.
The work will be performed in Salzburg (Große Universitätsaula) on the 20th and 21st of April with the Philharmonie Salzburg conducted by Elisabeth Fuchs. In the program are also works by Schubert and Piazzolla.
